How to Apply
 
Step 1:
Read the Application Guidelines
 


Before you apply, you need to make sure that your project fits with the YES Program criteria. Most importantly:

 

Step 2:
Find out who in your community may be able to help you and arrange for a Local Supporting Organization (optional)
 


Contact local environmental groups, government departments and others in your area regarding your idea. Arrange a time to meet with them in person or over the phone to share your idea and ask them if they will consider being a supporter of your project application.

Step 3:
Start to work on your application form.

Step 4:
Contact the Alberta Ecotrust Grant Program staff to get help (if required)
 


If you need help completing the application, or have a question about your project idea, contact the Grant Program Staff at Alberta Ecotrust.

We've been giving grants out for over 15 years, so we figure we're pretty good at it by now. Chances are, if you have a question - we can help get you closer to the answer.

Step 5:
Complete the application form.
 


Read it over, check for typos and math errors. It's a good idea to have someone else read it to make sure it is easily understood. Good luck!

Submit your application electronically to Alberta Ecotrust.
