Ryan Cameron and the Save NRG Team (Calgary)

Campus residences may perhaps be the optimal space in which to build community. Ryan Cameron plans to capitalize on this opportunity by using residence space to inform students of environmental issues and help steer them to positive actions they can take.

With YES Grant funding, Ryan and the Save NRG Team will work to promote a culture of environmental sustainability amongst students living on the University of Calgary campus. They aim to reduce energy consumption on campus, place environmental representatives on important student and administrative committees, and ultimately propel the University of Calgary into a position of environmental leadership.
