Year: 2007 Cycle: Spring Amount: $20,000 Visit grantee's website Monitoring Director: Paul Godman Pembina Institute for Appropriate Development Smart Growth for Calgary aims to engage key decision makers and citizens in Calgary regarding how the city's design impacts the environment and the lives of Calgarians. A wide range of stakeholders will be involved in the development of a 'living website,' which will serve as a one-stop-shop for recent events, emerging issues, research and stakeholder perspectives regarding the growth of the city. The website is intended to provide a base for communication and understanding between stakeholders, and to stimulate collaboration to overcome the many complex barriers to sustainable communities. |
