Sonja Pichette (Olds) Although Olds College hosts the composting facility for the town of Olds, food waste generated on campus is not currently composted. Sonja Pichette and a group of students at the college, with the help of YES Grant funding, will collaborate with the Olds College School of Innovation and the private food contractor on campus to compost college food waste, thereby diverting tons of waste from landfill.
