Jasper Youth Environmental Conference

National Parks are an excellent setting in which to foster and promote environmental stewardship.  A group of high school students living in Jasper are planning to share the environmental stewardship ethic they have developed with other youth across Alberta.

Funds from the YES Grant program will enable Kaity Zozula and a team of students to host a three-day conference in spectacular Jasper National Park, featuring educational sessions, networking opportunities and discussion of environmental issues. 

Conference organizers hope to empower participants to take action on environmental issues both through their daily lifestyle choices and by returning to their communities as environmental ambassadors and stewards
