Year: 2008 Cycle: Spring Amount: $7,500 Visit grantee's website Monitoring Director: Meghan Beveridge Castle Crown Wilderness Coalition The Castle Wilderness north of Waterton Lakes National Park is still significantly wild. With the exception of bison, the area still provides habitat for every mammal that was present there in the 1800s. The Castle Crown Wilderness Coalition will continue to undertake community engagement and communications work to promote the ecological value of this area and encourage its protection.
