Environmental Awareness Canoe Odyssey

Tony has decided to turn an outlandish adventure into a meaningful and benevolent journey. His Environmental Awareness Canoe Odyssey will work with other initiatives in the Edmonton area to create awareness about the environment by educating citizens of the myriad exciting volunteer opportunities that exist in the community's environment sector.

Tony and team will host an event highlighting local environmental groups, organizea Capital City clean-up to remove garbage from the river, lead two guided adventures through the Edmonton river valley park trails, and plant over 100 tress in Edmonton. 

Two nature walks for children and families in the river valley will be held under the license of Leave No Trace Canada. The canoe trip and associated activities will promote awareness amongst outdoor enthusiasts of the nature of their recreational impacts as well as techniques to prevent and minimize such impacts.
