Jenna Richard and the H2O Squad (Calgary)

Water is a precious and limited natural resource. As such, a number of students at Lord Beaverbrook High School are concerned about the amount of water used in their school. The students formed a group called the H20 Squad to address this issue.

YES Grant funding will allow Jenna Richard and the H20 Squad to install motion sensors on school sinks and timers on showerheads to reduce water consumption.  The H20 Squad will monitor the results of their conservation efforts in an effort to stimulate similar projects in other local schools and the community at large.
