Alberta Fish and Game Association's (AFGA) Operation Grassland Community
addresses the need for the protection and enhancement of important grasslands habitat areas.

Working cooperatively with its landholder members, AFGA will preserve and enhance 40 separate habitat locations to maintain biodiversity and support the longterm sustainability for three species at risk (burrowing owl, loggerhead shrike, and
Sprague’s pipit).
