TERA Environmental Consultants is a mid-sized, environmental consulting firm with over 150 staff serving the energy sector.  Headquartered in Calgary, the company also operates field offices strategically placed in Medicine Hat, Hanna, and St. Albert, as well as Fernie, British Columbia. Since its incorporation in 1983, TERA has successfully completed over 6,000 projects and its work has expanded throughout North America.  Its experience and range of services has increased as well, growing to address the diverse and ever-changing array of projects, environments, socio-cultural and regulatory settings.

The company has a reputation for providing quality work, on time and on budget, and provides an expert, balanced perspective that is sharply focused on client needs. TERA maintains numerous contacts within the industry, government, academic institutions, and nongovernment organizations. In addition to its diverse in-house expertise, it also manages large interdisciplinary teams of sub-consultants when required.
