Alliance Pipeline operates one of the world's most technologically advanced pipelines. Pressurized gas propelled by high-efficiency combustion turbines slips through internally coated pipe more easily, emitting significantly less greenhouse gas emissions than a conventional pipeline system.

While transporting 1.6 billion cubic feet of rich, high-energy natural gas from Western Canada to the Chicago market every day, Alliance is becoming an industry leader in producing green electrical energy. Alliance's sister company, NRGreen Power, produces electricity from waste heat in power plants along its pipeline that create no new GHG emissions.
