Learning About Your Water

Hines Creek has been experiencing drought for the past 2 years. With a YES grant I can purchase the right equipment for water quality testing kits to be used to collect some baseline data.  Data can be collected at regular intervals to help create a baseline and determine any problematic activities or areas under stress. By partnering with the local watershed group and schools we have the potential to engage and teach local students in the area about water quality sampling. My hope is that the awareness will bring upon better water conservation behaviours in our community.
