BikeTunes will incorporate bike culture and musical performances into the Bow River Flow event this summer. The core concept involves 5 'Tune Stations' placed strategically along the river pathway, where acoustic live music and bike repairs/rentals will be available. These stations will promote alternative transportation, and encourage participants to linger, or explore further on bike or foot. In addition, BikeTunes will draw out a larger audience for Bow River Flow, through social networking initiated by performers, participating bike shops and myself.
