Lake Management Framework for Alberta

ALMS vision is to create a Lake Management Framework/Guidance document with assistance from local lake managers, policy makers, watershed and lake scientists, and other technical experts. With increasing pressure on Alberta's lakes and the movement towards watershed based approaches to lake management, it is important that lake managers and stewardship groups have the tools necessary to best manage their lake environments. Once completed, the Lake Management Framework will act as a guidance document for lake stewardship groups and lake managers who are developing management plans for their basins.
